MemberWell I went to both the Mcafee and windows firewall and clicked restore to defaults and since then, when windows starts up it will sometimes connect and work. When it hasnt, I just repair the connection and then it works…confused as all get out…The other thing I did was update the drivers too but I realized I hadnt restarted since I did that so its been like that since the restart.

MemberI pulled up ipconfig on both my current computer thats wirelessly connected and this one. There is a difference in two places.
Under :
Ethernet adapter wireless connection, the setting listed as
IP Address is slighty different in the last digit. Im pretty sure thats normal but..just giving as much info as I can. Im no computer guy to be sure. The other difference is at the top under “Windows IP Configuration” is on this computer (functioning one..) IP Routing is enabled and on the netbook, it isnt. Is that it?

MemberWell if this helps at all, without checking out what you said first, Im about to, but sitting two feet away is the computer Im typing on now that connects to the wireless network just fine…
Also, it does connect to the network, just not the internet. Which is very frustrating. Ill check it out though, let you know.
