I was watching a movie and hardly had enough volume. I check the Windows volume, Media player volume, and SRS. Nothing worked.
Here is what will give you enough volume to hurt your ears with ear buds:
Go to Control Panel. Open RealTech HD SOund Effect Manager. There is a volume “knob” that if you turn up half way, you will have to turn the Windows down so you can stand it.
No problems:
Home, work, Starbucks, Peet’s, Corner Bakery, Library (US and New Zealand), etc.
I have not had any issues with video. I have 1GB and default settings. Are you sure that you have a good wireless connection?
I am getting 7+ hrs. I am using default settings and XP. It is mostly internet browsing with a little Open Office thrown in.
You need a regular cable to go to a router, switch, or hub. You need a crossover cable to go computer to computer.
But, why would you not go wireless. A wireless router is also a DHCP server, so it sets up you IP address. Not counting security, it is about as plug and play as you can get.
