The biggest fear the Government and those in control, have, isn’t some ‘terrorist’ living in cave in Afghanistan. No the number one enemy to them is YOU. Sure a terrorist attack, while devastating, is not going to change policy. But a mass peaceful protest most certainly can change policy if not Governments.
That is why anyone attending any kind of protest will be classed as a ‘domestic extremist’
This will stop law abiding people from going on a march/protest, as is their right, for fear of being on a watch list.
At least we still have the freedom to do the simple things in life. Oh…
big brother is watching
Unfortunately our government doesn’t pay any attention to peaceful protest, far more people attended the peaceful anti war march before iraq than the poll tax riots but guess which resulted in a change of policy.
