Wow that looks impressive. Would like more info on the processor though as I’ve not seen really read much on a mobile Sempron. Not a big fan of AMD due to their lack of real competition with Intel.
Screen size is nice, has HDMI out as well and a wireless N adapter. If it had a 3G modem or a PCI-E inside to support one I think I’d buy one right now.
I like how you say you’d sell your sammy for it, I still have my original EEEPC 2GB Surf from release date. I dont sell them on, they’re like my children!
They are already available in the UK here – Saw one in the display cabinet yesterday or so. The Amd sempron review or explanation I guess is here [See below] I have no idea what it means. However, the fact that it’s got a dedicated graphics card that is better than the one on the atom makes it inviting. I have see a couple of video showing counter strike, photoshop working well [how well??] on it.

I am really liking this at the moment. It comes with 3 year warranty as well. Not bad.
Im slightly confused. The atom draws 2.5w of power and this draws 15w of power?! Sounds like a huge difference in power consumption to me. Battery life can be all that great. I read 4 hours which isnt bad.
I also read someone saying the keyboard is horrible
i’m gonna google my closest aldi and go and see if i can test one out cos im not convinced yet. Wish i had £300 floating around to get one. Just bought the new iphone though lol

I didn’t get a chance over the weekend I was working for the main part and then had to do some clearing up after setting up a new pc.
If I can get to an Aldi to check it out I’ll take my camera with me and take some pictures for you. Unless it blows me away I highly doubt I’ll be buying one. I’m all spent out at the moment lol.
