ParticipantDid you run the driver software first (if it came with it). It may need that to install a driver.
What mouse is it?July 1, 2009 at 10:48 pm #195303dragonfly
Memberwell I don’t have a drive to install it. I have been using Vista’s on my other laptop, it just started working on that one. Ok I guess I will have to find the driver online huh?

Or copy the drivers onto a USB stick on your other laptop 😕Or network your Sammy with your other laptop and access the CD/DVD drive on your other laptop via the network 😕

If you can find the driver online easily and quickly then thats fine, else follow Jayne’s suggestions.
That way you will know you definately have the correct driver 🙂July 5, 2009 at 5:17 pm #195305bigpappy

I am not clear which mouse version you have. Assuming you have the bluetooth mouse version try this
Go to BT icon in system tray. Right click it and start device (if not already started)
Choose Explore My Bluetooth Places
Under Tasks menu choose Search for devices in range
Look for your mouse to appear (press the connect button on mouse)
Double click to connectIf you are having problems with the MS software why not try uninstalling it as it should not be needed?
If you have the usb wireless mouse version with a dongle it is plug and pray – no driver software should be needed

MemberTried it on all ports–no difference–the usb stick did cause a little light to turn on on the mouse (briefly)–then it turned off and did nothing….will try on another computer–probably some software incompatibility…..
