Hi,
I have just rebuild my N150 from the F4 recovery. I have installed most of the Windows 7 updates including SP1, done all the Samsung Plus updates and uninstalled Office 2007. I was then installing a single “Important” Windows Update (I didn’t get the KB) and it installed successfully, after the install was complete it prompted a for a restart, which I did. Now it will not load Windows 7. It just sits are the black screen with the scrolling green marque and “Microsoft Corporation ©” below. The marque keeps scrolling but Windows never loads. This is the same when booting the F4 Recovery as well, this happens for all the F8 boot options except “Safe Mode”, this loads a load of .sys drivers then stops after CLASSPNP.sys.Screenshot here: bit.ly/psF25q
I tried:
- Restoring the BIOS to default.
- Removing Power and Battery for several minutes.
Any ideas?
After about 30-40 minutes waiting for “Safe Mode” to boot it finally did! :D.
I just restarted from the Login screen and Windows has now booted.
Phew, glad it’s back up and working.
