The subject says it all! if I close the lid on my sammy to travel and then open it up again or if it has gone into standby mode I lose the wifi connection and have to reboot, The connection looks fine on the status monitor but only gives ‘limited or no connectivity’ A reboot always clears the problem. Any ideas anybody?
Assuming you are using Windows, deactivating and activating the wireless should do the trick.
I’m having this sometimes on my NC10 and on my Dell, too after standby or hibernation but I haven’t been able to track down the cause.
You could try turning off the “Power save mode” in the Atheros Advanced properties.
Thanks folks, those both work. Very grateful!
