MemberIt is surprising to note that a simple piece of plastic with some components inside could seduce 1,5 million persons!

[/quote1254275027]Ha ha very true, however (although I’m partial since I bought one), I feel that his model is still the best one. I just bought my NC-10 a week ago, and when comparing all the models, I liked the look and features of the NC-10 better than any of the others. The style of the new 110’s are modeled after their TV’s (I own one with the “Touch of Color”), and it just didn’t impress me. I like my sleek blue netbook. 🙂
Note: The TV (46″ LCD) DOES impress me though. 🙂

I just got hold of a Samsung 5 series 32″ telly, only £379 at John Lewis. Very nice looking imo.

My Samsung TV is a 5 series also. Some people seem to “need” the 6 or 7 for more bells and whistles, including the higher refresh rates, but mine is serving me very well after owning it for about 5 weeks. But I think the 5 series is still the best value TV on the market. I got a 46″ 5 series for about $1000. How can you top that? Can’t wait to try it out when I get my BluRay player for Xmas this year…

MemberCan’t argue with that, mine was by far the cheapest full HD TV I could fine here in the UK, and it does look great!
I would be lying if I said I didn’t want an ultra thin LED with all the Media 2.0 extras but like you say, do I *need* it? tbh if I lived on my own I would have bought the biggest and bestest one but for some reason my wife feels like she should have a say on these matters hence the reduction in size and spend – boooo! ;)!

MemberHa ha well I was somewhat limited as well, however 46″ was the only thing that would fit in my current room. If I could, I’d go bigger, but I’m quite happy with my purchase.
And yeah, the LED ones are really sweet…
But I can only afford almost obscure technology….
: )
