Memberhi, just got my n210 and it is really slow on starting up i just wondered what i should take off my sammi to make it a little faster or should i just wipe it completely and start afresh,oh and another wee niggly problem it states 11 hours battery life but when fully charged it says 8 hours 50 mins,so my question is does the battery need to be charged a few times to get maximum juice out of it or was the 11 hours just a lie???

Participanttonybhoy – Welcome to the forum.
This thread may be useful although it is for the NC10 much will still be applicable to the N210.
How to tweak your NC10, faster boot up, faster shut down, longer battery lifeRegarding claimed battery life this [post=103601]thread[/post] may be of interest.
Hope this helps

im finding that out lol, also the battery indicator says 5 hours 45 min then it says 7 hours 20 mins left its a bit confusing,i just asked my mate who has a dell netbook about what to expect of it and he said wipe the whole thing then reinstall drivers from sammy website and it will run faster,is this true or not,if im only going to get 7/8 hours from something that i thought would give me about 9/10 then it might have to go back lol

MemberDid you definitely get the version with 5900 mHa battery? (I think) as some came with smaller, lighter ones which don’t last as long.

MemberHave you got the newer N210 Plus? If so it only has the 4400mHa battery and will only last 5-6 hours despite the 10/11 hour claim by Samsung. The N210 Plus also has a piece software that runs after the first few reboots and configures the system to boot quicker. You can’t miss it as it can take over 10 minutes (mine took 30!!) and then Windows 7 Starter was much quicker.
Cheers
