hello,
I was using windows7 on my nc20 booting it from a pendrive, i had no proper mbr.
suddendly, the system went into hybernation.
the problem is when it restarts the system, it says system restoring but I have no boot on the partition and the computer doesnot let me boot from a usb pendrive or anything else.
Besides, I lost the windows 7 installation.
What can i do?
can I abort the system resuming in the bios? I have restore bios defaults but it doesnt help.
I am trying to install the initial step of the windows xp in the hard drive using another computer, but…when system resumes, will it accept that installation?
help, because I am completely lost.

I have thought that I could restore a disk image with mbr?
could I get it from samsung?
could any of you upload an image of your system?
I have tried taking out the bios battery, but nothing changes.
Tried booting it with out the batterry, but nothing.
without battery and memory, it does not start at all.
but the system resuming things does not disappear…
also preinstalled win xp in the hard disk, but nothing when I put it back it the nc20, the disk does not start

Check the bios to see if the hdd is recognised correctly.

ok, repaired.
I took out the hd and installed windows 7 in another computer.
then start windows 7 in the other computer and leave in standby state.
in that state, put it back in the nc20.
and windows started, asked if i wanted to keep the restoration data, said no, delete it.
then windows 7 couldn’t start but the system resuming dissappeard and I could start it and install windows from the usb disk.
