On my N130.
Sometimes after using headphones the speaker is dead, restart windows and it works again.
That I can live with, but when trying to use a VST programme such as Amplitube, or record music with something like Reaper, all i get is feedback and chassis noise (trackpad, keyboard).
EG. if I had reaper open now I’d hear every stroke of the keyboard but the VST instrument loaded into reaper would make the identical sound, rather than – say – the snare drum sound I want.
Similar things happen when doing an MSN video call, though that may be an MSN issue too.
Tried fooling with asio4all and what have you. System sounds turned off. Latest realtek drivers installed.
no change. 🙁
Should have bought an NC10…
great forum.
thanks guys.
reem,
just a wild shot in the dark, not having used either program, but does your N130 have a small ‘hole’ microphone right next to the touchpad as my N220 does?
If so, try disabling it and use an external microphone via the ‘mic in’ socket (which I think it has).
