My Googling has let me down as I haven’t been able to find where to buy a Spanish version of a Sammy netbook (old NC 10 or new N 150, maybe even a new 200 series). I guess as I am in Europe it ought to be available in Spain but FNAC.es don’t list is and I don’t know of other options? I’ll buy it new if needs be, but if I can get the Spanish version of an OS an alternative is to “convert” my own NC 10 by changing the keyboard to a Spanish one (Chinese replacement), but still can’t see where to get a Spanish OS (XP, I guess?). Anybody got any guidance on either option? [Replies in Spanish can be handled 🙂 ]
I have no idea about an actual Spanish OS, but, I have Win 7 ultimate on my main computer, which comes with free (download from windows update) language packs to completely convert the OS into any one of 35 langauges, and a quick check reveals that Spanish is one of the options. It is pretty expensive on it’s own, about £250 AFAIK, but if you are in education/work in education/ have kids in education, you can get it for around £58 from here (Hope it’s okay to link to that, they are linked from Microsofts site)
I’ve got the French language pack installed (onto my english copy), and it is just as if I’d bought the French version 🙂 Hope that helps, and I’m sure other people will be able to guide you some more on your other questions
If you are willing to pay the price, you can send money to me and I could send you one Sammy in spanish with spanish keyboard, but maybe is too much to spend
