Does anyone know how to speed up my n210 start up?, I have upgraded the RAM to 2gb but it still takes an age to get going, also I keep having problems with “windows not responding” when trying to open my e-mails.

Welcome to the forum
Try with the 1GB ram back in if re-seating the 2GB module does not improve things if you suspect the ram as a problem.
Check what startup programs are running and disable those that are not essential.
See here for more details about the startup processes. It’s for the NC10 but most if not all will be applicable to the N210.
Hope this helps
