Sorry guys, I know this isn’t worth a new thread, but the search-function gives me hundreds of links that don’t fit.
Some time ago I saw a thread telling how to edit login-data in the registry. Can’t find it. Here’s my problem:
One time I said “no” when IE8 asked if I wanted to store the password for my facebook-account. Since then I found no way to get my N130 to remember it.
If possible, I’d like to avoid registry hacking, i’ve done that before, but this is my first “virgin” system, want to solve it as a simple user.
I’m sure someone will have a quick answer that will make feel ashamed…
thanks
No need to apologise!
I think the setting you are looking for is Tools->Internet Options->Content->Auto Complete Settings->Tick the user names and passwords form.
Hope that helps!
Thanks Jez, auto-complete is activated, it worls on all sites, just not for facebook since I refused once 🙁
problem solved by itself. Don’t know why or how, my facebook-password is now remembered.
Yay!
🙂
