screen bezel scratches the battery

Hi , I ahve notice a distinct scratching sound when I open and close the lid on my nc10 , this has resulted in small scratches on the battery under the screen , any ideas on how to stop this as its starting to look a bit beaten up .

I have the same issue, I have ‘claw’ marks on the right side of my battery now and it looks horrible. I don’t honestly see any way around it, unless you attached a thin coushion pad to the underside of the LCD bezel

fixed the issue, try re-seating the battery and locking it in place , this worked for me
