MemberI got a Samsung N210 Plus for my birthday (24th) :p
And I’ve heard that it’s supposed to come with something called Hyperspace where you press F4 or F6 (I think) at the boot screen & it’s supposed to go into some little OS..
Problem is, On the day I got my netbook, I turned it on, went through the standard Windows 7 setup procedure & got acquainted with the netbook itself but one thing I hadn’t noticed at all is Hyperspace. I’ve checked everywhere on this forum to find out how to boot into it.. but it seems as though it isn’t on my netbook at all.
… It’s supposed to be seen in uninstall programs in the control panel, right? well it isn’t there. 🙁
I just wanted to be able to check it out as it seems pretty cool..
Is there a chance that maybe Samsung removed the feature from all newly manufactured units?
This Samsung N210 Plus netbook I have here was manufactured on 17/09/2010.. well it says that on the box.. and the model is NP-N210-JP02UK
I just want to know where this Hyperspace feature is because I can’t see it anywhere.. I can use the fast-booting Hybrid sleep thing where I close the lid & it goes off & when I open, it pops back on.. that is awesome 😎
But where is Hyperspace..? 🙁

MemberWow.. so many views & no replies lol
Do you think maybe Samsung removed it completely because of all the bad feedback it was getting on here & elsewhere on the internet? I think so.
Anyway, I bought it from staples.co.uk if that matters in any way at all.. It’s a nice netbook regardless, I’ve managed to make it run really smooth smooth by carefully removing all the junkware & useless services running in the background.. really nice netbook. I recommend everyone to buy one. I love it alot.

MemberHi, yup the N210 does not have Hyperspace. I think that Samsung also realised that it was just a feature that most people would not use as Win7 boots relatively quickly anyway. To be honest I would rather have their updated bios and fast boot which allows you to ‘sleep’ with minimal battery loss and turn back on again in seconds. I dont use Bluetooth so the update means nothing to me. However, the N wireless card was a bonus – although my new N210+ only connects at 65mbps and not the 150mbps my router works at:( I had a faulty one a few weeks back that connected at the same speed so I know it is the normal speed for this machine. Cheers N

MemberI am acually sad that Hyperspace was closed, I was lookong forward to it! 🙁 Well I love the netbook, and hope to post a review on Tomshardware when i get a chance!
And I do love the sleep feature. It saves battery life too, I had it on sleep for about 5 hours yesterday and it hardly dropped. Oh haha i didn’t mean to be a thread jacker, just wanted to throw my opinion up there rofl :).

MemberI hadn’t picked up on the loss of hyperspace tbh. So thanks for raising it.
Must admit that I’ve always found my NC10 to boot pretty quick, especially if left in hibernation so it’s not a feature I was ever desperate to use.
Not that I ever had it on my NC10 🙁
