MemberHi,
I installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my N130 and decided to merge all partitions (including the recovery partition) into one and install Ubuntu. I now wish to revert the Netbook to factory settings but having deleted the recovery partition i have no idea how to go about this. i thought about a Windows Home OEM image but i am unable to track one down. My question now is what are my options? Am i able to download an image to restore the recovery partition? Any help or answers gratefully received.
Thanks.

MemberFirst thing if ever changing from Windows to any other OS is to Image the Recovery Partition to an External Hard Drive along with the Recovery program so it can be recovered… You obviously did not…
HOWEVER you can still rebuild your C drive with Windows… There is a Site where you can download a copy of the Windows DVD Files as an ISO
READ the sections Insructions/ Download/ Modify/ Prepare and / Install before doing anything…
NOTE the fact that you need to Delete the file /sources/ei.cfg this will then give you the choice of version during Installation
Also NOTE you’ll need a 4Gb USB Stick to burn the ISO to using Unetbootin… as per the instructions…As the N130 came with Windows 7 Starter… That is what you’ll need to Install – using the Product Code off the label underneath your N130
Once Windows 7 Starter is InstalledYou’ll also need AT LEAST the Easy Display Manager – so the Function Keys will work…
Easy Display Manager and other N130 Drivers/ Software from here…
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/NP-N130-JA04UK-downloads?downloadName=UM
Note – the link opens in a CHOICES page… you need SOFTWARE section for E D Manager – and DRIVERS for your Wireless Lan & etc… (and RECOVERY SOLUTION)
NOW – RECOVERY.…First you’ll need to make a Recovery Partition (15Gb???) using the Free Easeus Partition Master/Manager Home
There is a How to ‘change’ Win XP Recovery to Win 7 recovery – which is a good guide to rebuilding the Recovery partition (but when you need to ‘Hide’ the partition – use Easeus PM)… HERE –
Hope this is Helpful to you.

MemberThis is your lucky day…
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cr490f30cdwgq5a/WINDOWS%20XP%20SP%203.iso
That link is for my back up Win XP ISO (SP3 if I remember correctly)
The rest of the info above should work with Win XP too
