Running DC Power Converter on NC10

HI.

I am about to drive for 8 hours one way and then 8 hours the days after.

I have a 300W power inverter that I want to connect to my NC10 from my car cigarette lighter during this trip.

The specs on this power inverter are as follows:

Provides 230V AC from this 12V DC source
Full load input current : 30A
Fuse: 15A
Nominal input voltage: 12.5VDC
Operating Input Voltage Range: 10.5-15VDC

I see on the back of my NC10 the following specs:
19V
2.1A
40W

Can I run this inverter on my NC10 without causing damage and loss of effciency??

yes you should be fine. i’ve ran my NC10 off of my 300W inverter several times while camping.

i read elsewhere that i can run a DC-DC Converter straight from the cigarette lighter in the car to run my Dell Mini 9 Computer which woudl be more efficient. Woudl this also apply to my NC10?
