Reinstalling Windows XP – preparing the NC10 for a sale

Hi guys,

I am considering selling my NC10 and upgrading to another Samsung laptop or netbook.

Therefore I need to basically have a fresh install of XP on the NC10 and get rid of all my existing data.

My netbook came with XP already installed (from what I can remember) and the only two disks I got in the box were the System Software Media and System Recovery Media.

So what is the best way to reinstall/wipe my netbook of all my data? Do I actually have to have a copy of XP to do this?

I’ve googled this but can’t seem to find much of an answer.

stannie655 – Welcome to the forum

You can set the machine back to ‘as new’ with [F4] at boot and do a full restore.
