reinstalling windows, need help

hi all,

given the option to do a full or a quick restore, i tried both.

a full restore took 17 hours to only reach 30% while “setting up formatting”, while a quick install completed took only an hour

i was wondering what does this mean about the condition of my hard drive? is it faulty or defective?

what do you suggest i do? i still have warranty..

You have to provide more details.

1.Do you still have the hidden partition?
2. On booting up, can you hit F4 and restore from there?
