January 2, 2013 at 11:22 am #202195alexandre.beaujault MemberHello and good year, Sorry for my English, have you iso image of srs 4 or 5 admin tolls for my N130. I will install XP on but my recovery partition is not active. The link of dosibox are dead. Thanks Alex January 6, 2013 at 3:03 pm #202108sammyone Member@alexandre.beaujault 112234 wrote: Hello and good year, Sorry for my English, have you iso image of srs 4 or 5 admin tolls for my N130. Here is another site for download of the SRS 5 Admin tool… I d/led it and checked for Virus/rootkits and it seems OK..
the Readme file states it is from dosibox… !http://www.general-files.com/files-a/admintool-for-srs5-iso/ It is an ISO and needs to be buned to an USB Stick, using a program like “ISOtoUSB.exe” January 11, 2013 at 12:53 pm #202198Sergy MemberHello First allow me to apologize if my english isn’t good enough. Now let me explain my situation. I own a Samsung NP350V4C-S01CO, shortly after I bought it , I did a complete format to the hard drive with a CD, so I deleted the recovery partition and it has been a pain in the… well, you know… since then… As far as I have investigated, this is the only solution I can get, so I will try, please be patient with me. I was looking for the Admin Tools SRS5, however its impossible to find it, so I took my dad’s new laptop (Samsung NP530U3C-A05CO) and run Samsung Recovery Solution pressing F4 at the booting. I used the [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [F10] and introduced secclx as password, clicked on the Image tab and then exported an Image of the recovery area.
After doing this I’ve clicked on the Tools tab and then on the AdminTool USB option, the program asked me if i wanted to format my USB, picked Yes and it created and USB Administration Tool.I am now uploading an .nrg image that contains Admin Tool for SRS5 to both, Mediafire and Dropbox since I’ve noticed that Mediafire may block the files, once I have the links ready I’ll post ’em here. In the mean time I’ll make a backup for my computer so I can do the process explained here without any concern. Wish me luck 🙂 January 11, 2013 at 4:31 pm #202199Sergy MemberOk, here are Dropbox’s links to the folder containing two parts of AdminTool for SRS5 https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5xrps6emguois6k/bfZOmDTmsh, and here is the link for MediaFire http://www.mediafire.com/?oohm4043956p5 I’m at half the way on completing the backup. 😛 January 12, 2013 at 2:52 pm #202107sammyone MemberYou obviously did not get a chance to read the post before yours (mine) there is a SINGLE (ISO) file available from here… http://www.general-files.com/files-a/admintool-for-srs5-iso/ by splitting the file(s) on Mediafire, you have fallen into the same trap as everyone else so far, people can only download a SINGLE part of the required file. That’s exactly the reason why I uploaded the files to Dropbox as well, nevertheless I’m still able to download both parts from MediaFire without any kind of problem even if I’m not logged into my account. Now I’m finishing the whole process, finally, I’ve partitioned the disk, created the hidden recovery partition, installed all drivers, and I’m now getting ready to make the image for the recovery. January 14, 2013 at 5:50 am #202196Sergy MemberWell, this probably will be the last update for my own procedure. The size I had to use for the Recovery Area was 40Gb cause the Recovery image was about 35 Gb. That’s quite big, I’ve installed only Windows 7 Professional, Microsoft Office 2010 Professional and Winrar (all of them in the 64 bits versions), beside, off course, Samsung original software. One thing I didn’t liked about the result was that SRS 5, at least when I’m using it from F4, doesn’t shows me the options like “Basic Restauration” it goes straight to the “Full Restauration” option, and that’s it. I just wanted to thank you all. Before I started the process I did read the whole thread and it was just the most helpful thing, so thank you for everything. January 16, 2013 at 10:25 pm #202201pOlPo MemberHello everyone (this is my first post) I just want to add that, since all the links in the first pages are broken, I managed to fix my NC10 by downloading the SRS3 ISO through a torrent that I found on a russian forum, after weeks of struggle. Every other attempt using pendrives and SRS4 failed, but I burnt the SRS3 ISO on a CD and booted with an external optical unit. Everything is back to normal now Question: is SRS5 better than SRS3 and why? March 14, 2013 at 3:58 am #202202shoyru777 MemberHi, I downloaded the admin tool and burned it on a dvd but unfortunately it doesn’t boot, My recovery partition is complete been removed, like it will now show up on My Computer any advise on what i did wrong ? 🙁 or on how to re-add the recovery partition again 🙁 I am desperately in need of your expertise and assistance 🙁 March 14, 2013 at 4:07 am #202203shoyru777 Member@sammyone 112241 wrote: Actually the link is OK, but that website will only allow people to download part 1. Do you think you can resend the .iso file ? please ? 🙂 March 14, 2013 at 8:51 am #202109sammyone MemberThe link at @General Files’ has as you said also expired – (due to lack of traffic) Go to Sergy’s Post #122 above and click on the link he gave – it will take you to his Dropbox account
you can the click on the part 1 then the part 2 links there and they will download to your computer…March 30, 2013 at 11:08 pm #202200Sergy MemberHi everyone again. I’ve uploaded Admin Tools SRS5 again, this time to ShockShare. Now it’s only 1 file, and the file extension is .iso, so you don’t need Nero to burn it. http://www.sockshare.com/file/3ABBAFC0208D499C Hope this helps. April 9, 2013 at 1:41 am #202185eddieeddie MemberIn response to somebody “LathSpelL” (getting an error trying to send you a private message): No, I never found the password. If you find yourself in “Winclon 4.0” I think you are in the wrong spot. (Abort.) Honestly, I can hardly remember anything, but according to my post I found a work around that did use the secos password. The work around was to install to the USB stick, boot off that, and THEN initiate a restore to the secret partition on the new SSD. I think if you follow my bulleted list very specifically, you will get it. The trick is if you try to deviate (as I was doing compared to other scenarios I found on the net), then you will run into problems. April 12, 2013 at 8:09 am #202204emakup MemberHi there i have a big big problem… a friend of mine asked me to put android on his netbook..
i have 1 hdd and with android i discovered it had 4 partitions sda1,2,3,4
but while i was doing these operations this guy was talking so much that i formatted sda3 with ext2… so
and when i restarted the machine i god error 17
i asked him to leave me his netbook…
i used gparted to access and format back the partition in ntfs
and through gparted i realized that the first 2 partition (the hidden one, i guess the recovery partition was still there) where still ntfs but the last 2 where ext2…so i changed them into ntfs
since windows 7 starter was not loading i thought i deleted the os so i was hoping to use the recovery.
 but pressing f4 i get error 15!
i tried hirens on a bootable usb stick and i don’t know how i managed to enter the srs4… basic restore was unsuccessful, i mean i tried but i got an error..while complete restore was done in a dozen of minutes.
 I was so happy but…. when i restarted error 15 again…
i’m stuck! please help!April 13, 2013 at 7:01 am #202111sammyone MemberTry this… http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/32523/how-to-manually-repair-windows-7-boot-loader-problems/ it takes you step by step thru’ the repair… After that – Download and run Easybcd editor to rebuild the windows bootloader and ADD the GRUB bootloader so you have the choice of Windows or Android. Download from here… http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3112-easybcd.html Adding ANY second OS to a Windows computer overrides the Master Boot Record – this means the BIOS cannot load any OS until the MBR shows Windows FIRST – hence Reload Bootloader then Add GRUB to the Bootloader Hope you found this useful.
