I changed to have the last version OS Windows + AdminTool.
OS Windows: Windows 7
AdminTool: 4.0.0.3

I have Windows 7 and upgraded to Recovery Solution 4, yet when I run the program it says Recovery Solution 3 Upgrade.

Has anyone actually managed to get the full version of SRS 4 running?

Strider – I get exactly the same as you and I remember mentioning it in another thread a while back. I thought I was on my own with SRSIII Upgrade after installing SRS4.

I thought it might have something to do with the fact I am running dual boot XP/7 although I’m not convinced.

That said it seems to work as though it is version 4 so it may not be important?

Thanks for the reply. From what I can rememeber, the upgraed SRS3 dows not include the software backup/repair function that is in the full version of SRS4

[/quote1267394103]That’s probably quite correct but I haven’t bothered with it as I have found the Admin Tool for SRS4 includes all I need.

It’s strange the way SRS4 installs and then reports itself as SRSIII upgrade so today I unistalled and re-installed. Unfortunately I get the same result which could be because I have SRSIII installed on the C: drive (on the XP installation) and SRS4 on the D: drive (Win7) on a dual boot XP/Win7 installation. Else it might be seeing the SRSIII contained in the Recovery partition.

I will re-build the recovery partition with Win 7 soon and see if that fixes it 🙂

Try installing the Admin Tool for SRS4 to a USB stick, it works well.

I just posted an updated link to the tool in an earlier post above.

En installant ubuntu 9.10 sur une clé usb ma mbr a été modifiée par grub.
