pinging sounds on start-up after liquid spill

Hello – unfortunately I spilt coffee on my keyboard. Now it’s dried out and seems to be working again, but on start-up the machine makes a pinging noise (just as I turn it on) as if a key’s being pressed and it doesn’t like it. Or as a warning sound of some sort.
Any ideas what if might be? Should I be worried? Can I stop it?

Otherwise the machine seems to be working fine.

Welcome to the forum nickip212,

I would be a bit concerned, may be unnecessarily I don’t know, but I would probably think about removing the keyboard and washing and drying it thoroughly or even replacing it.

Have a look at this thread to see what you think. As all seems to be working fine then you may decide not to do anything, I realise.
