Sleep and wake seems to work the way it should with closing and opening the lid. However, I frequently forget to close the lid, and the touchpad should wake the thing up but it does not. I have to flip the power switch on the front which can be annoying. I know most every computer out there lets the touchpad wake from slep, but this one does not. I searched through sleep mode setting, as well as the mouse settings (and then the device advanced area within mouse settings) in control panel but found nothing…
I am about to check bios now for a let usb wake setting, but iI do not expect it to be there, and the touchpad is not even a usb device afaik so..
Much obliged if anyone can help me find a solution for this!
no luck in bios. There is a feature to enable wake on usb, but it doesn’t do anything, and it’s probably as I suspected…the touchpad is not USB.
I did however find a feature to disable cpu power saving in bios which I am trying out. Wonder how much it will effect battery life, and what the pros and cons are of having it on/off…
