Note: i will update first few Posts to update information we find/verify..
so no digging threw posts for we all find what works..

NP-N210-JA02US N210 Adding HD Decoder MINI PCI E Socket
(this will have to be solderd one however soldering comes easy to me been doing it for past 22 years)I Just got my N210 and found it has no Spare Mini PCI E Socket installed
i noticed the posible socket location is different than the modded ones i see on this forum)
so i wanted to check if any one has modded there New N210 to support a HD Accelerator aswell without loosing wifi.
(notice in the pictures the wifi is a half sized card so cant put any thing there even if i wanted to hack a usb wifi dongle and mount next to hard drive (there’s quite a bit of room there unless I/we can add a socket and work..

now to the Removal of Anti Glare on LCD I outright dispice AG on any LCD.. just dulls the image for me..
I have done this to just about every thing i own including my Samy LN19A450 TV. only lcd i haven’t removed AG is on my 46″ 640 (has minimal if any AG)

before and after, pretty self explanatory.
how to do this.
1. remove lcd from unit.
2. remove bezels from around lcd.
3. depending on back bezel may have to remove lcd from bezel (if u do this must be in DUST FREE ROOM one spec will show threw and be hard to remove from Back light panel (Dont touch back light panel u cant clean finger prints off)
3. cut paper towel or thin cotten sheet to match size of lcd, lay on lcd panel and get wet with water (distilled best) and allow to soak for 12 hours.*Do not over water it just enough to be wet not dripping off)
4, pull ag layer off, it may come up nicely or in pieces either way you get it all off easily.
5. scrub the glue off take a cotton sheet and get slightly damp and rub that lcd good.. (enough pressure but not enough to break.)
6 reassemble everything wait few hours then power that nice new screen up..
any blemishes (minor scuffs u may make (may happen) are not noticeable when on.. )(I will be updating these pics to reflect the N210 however I Haven’t passed the returnable date yet, IE if it craps out i can just take back for next 45 days without restock fee, will be doing mods (Decoder, AG soon though)

Side note on this thing
Ram 1GB thats Bogus So Laggy and slow (Ram Upgrade is a must to own this thing)
to that any one know if we can go to 4GB
(I will go to 64bit OS if so)
Also Mouse Buttons Suck need ridges (thinking of adding some way to feel where there at so i dont accidentally have finger on pad thinking its button[MOD EDIT] Removed duplicate image and resized images ~TCMuffin

Just a note of caution – dissembling a new LCD screen to remove an anti-glare layer seems an extreme mod – be very careful if you choose to follow tlordon’s example.

I do beleive the LCD mod is a bit extreme however they arent as delicate as you may think with that said they cant be bent (tweaked) Hard to explain.
However it has been done by many many people.
i will say becarefull not to pull up the polorizor sheet (the ag and polorizor are the same exact size so you have to becarefull and pick at the tipy top of the ag and just catch it with the razor and then you should be ok (if pol comes up go to another corner and dont pry on that side any more.. (it will go back after it dries and if u didnt pull to much the bezel should hold it..http://www.lumenlab.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8283&hl=remove+antiglare
Ya in short i do some extreme stuff and consider it basic so i be sorry about that ahead of time..
