Just tried this out on my Win7 Starter. I’m really not keen on Windows 7 Search facility since by default, it finds not only files but the word in any text documents (and I have a lot of those!)
FileLocator gives clear, fast results, has plenty of Boolean and Wildcard/Regular Expressions search options and adds a menu item when you right click on folders or Drives. It lets you print your results and It also remembers your last search and defaults back to that. Sweet!Hi eviuk,
is it the “lite” version that you use? Or did you really spend 40 Dollars on a search facility?
Yeah Win7 search isn’t as good as I hoped. I thought it would be a full on system wide file through any file types by now. So is this along the lines of Google desktop search etc?
