Hi everyone, I’m just in the process of getting a netbook. Didn’t even know they are called netbooks – thought they were just small laptops!
Can’t decide between the NC10 & N110 though, so will rely on your experience and advice to help me make the right choice!

Welcome as per other thread and Jeeps comment, the N140 is worth a look. The N130 is the budget version.
That said, the NC10 is still a neat netbook and I don’t think any will disappoint.
I can subscribe to that.
The NC10 is still a very nice one and, in my point of view, superior to the N110, especially in terms of display. The NC10’s got a matte display, the N110’s got a glossy display. Maybe that might be some matter of taste, but I’d say, you won’t be happy with a glossy display when using it outdoors or some window or lamp in your back or in front of you, mirroring itself or you in your display.Other way around, the N130 and N140 are still worth a look, they’ve got matte displays and aren’t much more expensive than the NC10.

If you decide on the NC10 be aware that there are 3 cell and 6 cell battery versions. Make sure you get whichever one you want.
Having said that, I doubt that any model you choose will disappoint, many people are still buying NC10s out of choice. No newer 10 incher has made me regret having my NC10.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I was in Aberdeen today and nipped into a few places to have a look at the options. PC World only has the 110 on display, Currys only have the 110 too, but Comet had the 140 and NC10. All look the same to me, so it’ll come down to the fact that thet 140 is only a few quid dearer than the 110. And it’s available in blue 😉
