Amazon Germany is now offering some new Samsung NC10 for as low as EUR 300,-.
But there’s something strage about that model.First of all it’s got some 10.1″ panel, instead of the usually used 10.2″ panel.
Additionally it’s got a different model-code.
Instead of NC10-KA0…
it’s called NC10-KB0…Are there some KB0-models around in other countrys than Germany?
Does anybody have any kind of information about these models?
There are rumors about a different panel with CCFL-Backlight instead of the normally used LED-Backlight.I noticed a KB-model aswell in the Netherlands. It had a 3-cell battery (and was priced below €300, while KA NC10’s are priced over €330). So my guess it’s the code for 3-cell batteries.

There’s the KB03DE around, just alike the KA03DE, it’s got neither Bluetooth nor 3G but still 6-Cell battery.Model number coding was discussed a while ago on the forum and this wiki entry was compiled with the results.
Different Models AvailableInterestingly the KB02, 3 and 4 models were UK with 6 cell batteries
As far as I remember there was no difference in model numbers to distinguish whether it contained a 6 or 3 cell battery although this may have changed now.
Apparently there is some difference between contries than?
The model I saw was NC10-KB02NL, a white one with all the normal features, except 3-cell instead of 6-cell battery (and obviously a lower weight and price).
The other codes I found:
NC10-KA04NL (white)
NC10-KA05NL (blue)
NC10-KA06NL (black)
All with explicit mention of 6-cells and 8 hours of battery.edit: I’m talking about the Netherlands.
