I would like to replace the hard disk (160gb) installed on my N140, with the new big one (500 or 640gb).
Do you know what kind of hard disk is installed on N140 (1.8″ or 2.5″)?

MilluzI think it is a 2.5″ allthough I cannot seem to find it online anywhere. You could open up the netbook and check the number on the HDD you have installed now.

The hdd’s are SATA 2.5″ drives.
To confirm the spec on the one fitted to you N140 go to Device Manager, copy and paste the drive reference number in GoogleSeveral forum members have bought the 500 Gb Seagate Momentus 7200.4 HDD with G-Force Protection drive and reported good feedback.
