Hi,
Does anybody know how to reset the cmos on an NC20 – the NC10 has RCT reset pins which arn’t available on the NC20. i have tried removing the battery for a while. is there any way of clearing the cmos or do i need to remove the cmos battery – involving taking the back off the netbook.
thanks
Roop
I worked on an old Toughbook some time back and made a boot CD that would clear the temporary write areas of the CMOS. It’s too long and I have lost the file and where I got it. But! You might try HERE.
They tell of a few ways to try and have links to a few utilities to try. Good luck! 🙂 JohnP
Hi thanks for the info. I finaly resolved this by removing the back cover and taking the cmos battery out. The removal process is quite easy and not as messy as with some laptops.
