MemberHi guys,
First of all, thanks for all your hard work on this forum. Looks great 🙂
Second, I’ve just purchased an NC110, and found I’m not able to use two finger scrolling! After doing a little bit of reading, I found some things that lead me to believe this machine might not have a multitouch trackpad, but I couldn’t find anything concrete.
It was silly of me to assume that all netbooks would have this before I made my purchase. I researched all other hardware specs, prices, and got a feel for the keyboard which I love before making my purchase. Honestly though I feel severely limited without two finger scrolling! argh!
Can anyone shed some light on this? i.e. whether or not the trackpad is not multi-touch supported or, if it is, whether it might be solved with software/drivers? I’m running windows 7 starter as pre-configured.
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

MemberHi guys,
Problem solved. Yes, the NC110 does in fact have a multitouch trackpad. For whatever reason, it doesn’t work straight out of the box though. Is this the case with most netbooks or are Samsungs an exception to the rule? It could be the case that it’s not a standard function yet I was just so used to it that I presumed it was, but I digress…
I’m from Australia, the NC110 I purchased didn’t come pre-configured with two finger touch functionality, or any multi-touch functions for that matter, so for anyone who experiences the same problem, the fix is as simple as:
visiting http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers and downloading and installing the appropriate drivers for your operating system. Restarting your computer should give you the functionality.
Thanks 🙂
