[NC10] wireless connectivity after "sleeping"

hi guys
I boot up the nc10 and it connects to the university’s wireless network fine but once i put it to sleep and “wake it up”, it “connects” but if i go to the network sharing center, it can’t establish the connection. so like it connects to the name but it doesnt complete the connection and it doesnt connect unless i reboot, which doesnt always work, or if i turn off the wireless adapter..

also, it sometimes does what i explained when i turn on the computer from cold..
i reboot and it still does this..

im guessing it might be windows 7 since this didnt happen when i had xp…and it didnt happen when i had 7 rc and the other betas..

if someone can enlighten me

wuzhennin – A couple of things to try since it may be that the Atheros card is not waking

Control Panel > Device Manager > Network Adaptors > Atheros AR5007EG > Properties

In the Advanced tab
Set Power Save Mode to Off

That should help you problem, if not try this as well although this will impact on the battery life.

In the Power Management tab
uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
