NC10 Start-up problem!

Hi, I am a computer novice so please forgive!

I was on the internet earlier and a virus warning popped up and I clicked on deny access. As soon as I pressed ok a blue screen popped and up my laptop restarts. It keeps restarting and going on to the blue screen, which it stays on for a second, and then restarts. It does come up with a menu saying restore last settings and run windows normally etc. but whatever I click on it doesn’t work and just restarts but does not actually load! I think on one of the menus it said there was a hardware/software failure.

Okay, this probably doesn’t make any sense but I hope one of you computer wizards can help me!

Ok, I have found out a little more information, it says “IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL”

The technical information says:

Danh13 – Try pressing F4 at boot up and choose “Basic Restore”.
It that does not resolve it then choose “Full Restore” but you will loose all your data on the C: drive.
