MemberHi,
Would appreciate any final feedback that will help me to choose what will be my first netbook.
I narrowed it down to either the NC10 or N140 based on spec, reviews and price, both seem to come in around £230 , can only find the N140 in Sea Blue for this price, black is more expensive. Does anyone have a sea blue one, what is the colour ok?
I then found that I could get a N150 (with W7), for about £20 more so now really confused.
1. W7 or XP? which is better for the netbook?
2. Does anyone have a n140 or n150, and able to give an insight? I think the keybroards are diff the 150, has spaces between keys, is this correct?
Any help much appreciated.

MemberBetween the NC10 and N140 I would go for the latter as it has superior battery life. I use XP on my NC10 and am very happy with it.
I have Win 7 on my desktop and although there are some nice touches it hasn’t changed my life! Both run fine of the Samsung netbooks.
Hopefully someone can chip in with some thoughts on the N140/N150 keyboards. The NC10’s keyboard is pretty comfortable to use though and has always been one of it’s key features.
Good luck, and let us know which you buy!

MemberHi jeetmistry,
I would incline towards the newer N150, if you can live with the new keyboard. It ought to be lighter and have a very good battery life compared to the N270/N280 models.
Jez, as there is no mod edit on this particular forum you will have to look at your ‘buy’ link yourself 😛

MemberI have had my N150 for about 3 weeks now and very happy with it
This is my first netbook and I use to surf the web and watch videos
I have upgraded to 2 gig of ram and it has made it smoother when playing movies.
I was tempted to buy a NC10 but went for the next genearation because of the longer battery life.
The keyboard seems fine and I like the non-glossy screen.I hope this helps.

MemberMany thanks for the feedback guys.
I missed the special on the N150 at Pixmania, so it might be the N140. Will decide tonight. One thing that does frustrate me is that reading many forums loads owners reccommend upgarding to 2Gb especailly for Win7 and seems they don’t do a 2GB version of any of the models off the shelf, you actaully have to throw away the 1 GB and buy a 2GB.

MemberGet the N150. Its got the latest processor, best battery life, thinnest and lightest of the 3 mentioned. I think its the best new Sammy, despite being the least expensive.
