NC10 Hangs While Shutting Down

I have had to remove my battery and AC twice now because my NC10 has hung during shutdown.

Byte – It could be a number of things that cause the hang at shutdown and can be caused by, amongst others, a failed installation or software update etc.

Have a look at the error log entry(s) on the date you last tried to shut Windows down. This should give an indication of the offending application/process.

To View the error log:
[1] Start Menu
[2] Help and Support
[3] Pick a Task
[4] Use Tools to view your computer information and diagnose problems
[5] Advanced System Information
[6] View the Error Log

Once the error is identified and if it is a failed installation then Add/Remove programs in Control Panel may allow the removal and then re-installation to solve the issue.

It all depends on the type of error messages that appear in the log
