Hi. I have a Bytestor Flash drive which works perfectly on my main computer but for some strange reason my NC10 doesn’t read all the files on the drive.
Also my NC10 doesn’t eject same when I click on “Safely remove hardware”. It keeps teliing me that a file is still being worked on when there clearly isn’t any file open.. If I go into “My computer” and then right click the icon for the flash drive and then click eject I get no message at all. No message saying it can’t because a file is still open nor do I get a message to say it is OK to remove.
I have tried the flash drive on another computer as well as my own and all the files are present and it ejects normally.
Weird.

New to all this. If the flash drive works OK with other computers would formatting it make any difference?Occasionally, some devices prefer to do the formatting.
Copy the files off the USB onto another PC, then format the device in the Samsung netbook, and copy the files back.
