I have an NC10, running the pre-installed Windows – which all works well.
I connected the NC10 to my TV, with the usual 15 pin cable and the picture on my TV is fine – BUT there is no sound. I have tried increasing the sound setting to maximum on the TV and also reducing it on the NC10 – all to no avail. I have also unplugged and replugged the cable, which still had it’s original plastic covers over the pins!
Have I missed something in the instructions? Is the only possible solution a faulty cable?
Any help will be much appreciated.
The 15 pin connector is for Video – you also need a sound cable.Read the NC10 instructions…
drpeter – Welcome to the forum
You need a separate audio lead with male 3.5mm jacks at each end.
Hope this helps
Many thanks!
This will solve my non-problem! I cannot find the reference in the on-line manual, but that does not matter now.
Actually, I will need one which splits the channels at the TV end – my Toshiba TV is so equipped – now that I know what I am looking at!
