Hi all, new owner here.
Really pleased with my purchase and am now trying to install an exeternal CD drive. However the BIOS does not recognise the thing when attached.
In the boot section, top of the list is USB CD which shows as N/A and resists any attempts to alter the setting.
If it helps, I’m currently using an internal drive from a PC connected via ‘USB2 to IDE & SATA’ cable.
Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions as to how I can achieve installation?Cheers in advance.

not quite sure… i think you have driver issues. The generic external usb cd drive uses standard drivers, which are included in the bios of Samsung…
If you use the method you mentioned, u alse recieve additional drivers.
So i dont think sammy will recognize your “usb” cd drive in bios…
