MemberI am going to America in 2 weeks and want to get a 9 Cell battery.
I’ve read a lot of people saying they have to wait 2 weeks for delivery, everywhere I see them for sale it says at least 2 weeks turn around. As you can see this is not possible for me.Does anyone know where I can get a 9 Cell battery within 2 weeks (or even within a week)
Maybe if someone has one they can sell me? I will even pay more than retail for one. Many thanks

Memberkaotix,
One possibility is to have the 9 cell battery shipped to an address in the USA where you may be staying (hotel, motel, private home, etc). If that is not possible, then perhaps a car charger for the Samsung while you’re on the road. If neither of these suggestions work then incorporate extreme measures to cut down on computer settings that may impact battery life: screen brightness, disabling wifi (when not being used) and so forth. Finally, pick up an auxiliary battery backup such as a Tekkeon 3430. This will just about duoble your battery life. When I used this set-up in the past, I would hook up the Tekkeon to ac/mains to recharge it and at the same time have the Samsung NC10 connected to the Tekkeon so that both were being recharged at the same time using only one charging “brick”. Good luck.dockehr

MemberAlthough I’m not the OP, dockehr, your advice is very sound. You are the type of person who thinks outside the box.

[/quote1246110335]Some very valid points. I had thought about having it shipped to the hotel I will be staying in but I’m still not sure which will be possible. I will be moving about.
If no one has one to offer I may get one sent to my friend in America and pick it up along the way instead. I did this with something last year and had no problems. Thanks for your help and I would still like to hear from someone about a UK source for these 9 cell batteries.

MemberI bought one from Ebay, it took 4.5 days to get it delivered to Sweden, it was delivered to my door one morning. Of course I can’t guarantee that it will be that fast for you. This is the address to where I bought it from: http://cgi.ebay.com/9Cell-7800mA-Battery-Samsung-NC10-NC-10-AA-PB8NC6B-ND10_W0QQitemZ260358372922QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3c9e917e3a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1234|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

MemberAre the ones on Amazon.co.uk in the “slow delivery” category?
