Hi, I bought this N220 netbook a couple of weeks ago and I notice that the battery is unstable..
What I mean by that is, if you keep checking the battery remaining time while using the netbook,
it says for example 75% 4 hrs remaining, but then after 2-3 min it still says 75%
but 8 hrs remaining! And it keeps changing ALL THE TIME.Also, when you fully charge the battery to 100%, sometimes it says 8 hrs,
but another day, 12 hrs, etc.Am I the only one experiencing this? I called samsung customer service today
but they weren’t much help. Should I send in my netbook to samsung and get it fixed?
Please share your experience!Yeah, so just changing the brightness down will extend the remaining time for example. I would look at the indicator as a rough guide, when you start getting low make sure you can get to a recharger or start implementing the power saving techniques (turn down brightness, switch off WiFi, etc)!
The rest of the time, don’t worry too much about it. You start to get a feel for it anyway.
Always use the “Samsung Optimized” power setting regardless of whether you are on AC adaptor or not.. 🙂

I understand the battery time changes depending on the settings or what’s running,
but, for example, even though I reduce the brightness a lot,
it doesn’t necessarily extend the remaining time; instead, sometimes it even reduces!Also, if it said once 75% = 4 hrs remaining, shouldn’t it always say 4 hrs?
How come it suddenly increase to 8 hrs (but still 75%)?
(Here again, with the same settings and the same programs running)Should I just ignore all of these (like Yesterday said not to worry about it)?
