Hi all, New to the forum so no doubt this has been asked before (Although i cant find an answer), so i’ll apologise in advance for making someone repeat the answer again.
I recently bought 2 N150 (White and black) for my daughter and myself as she is moving to Oz later in the year and we want to keep in touch (Obviously). They were bought for the portability etc and I’m over the moon with them.
Hers is running W7 starter with Office 07 pro, skype and IE8. Mine is W7 Ultimate with Office 07, skype and iTunes for my iPhone.
Neither are running overly slow, and i have picked up some tips for increasing the processor speeds etc, from here already but i want to upgrade the RAM to 2GB just to be safe.
Ive seen that the advised is a DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHZ module, however the kind IT guy at work has gifted me a 667MHZ module.
My question is will this work fine (avoiding the need to buy the 800mhz unit) or would there be such a dramatic difference with the 800mhz unit?
Any advice would be great
Thanks
I bought from Amazon – Kingston 2GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM and it seems just fine.
Thanks for the response fergiet, installed it last night and all is running perfectly fine.
Thanks again
