MemberHola to guys(& girls) out there,
I tried kicking out Starter as I wanted to install Win7 Ultimate, so I wanted to do a fresh installation. I tried booting the Win7 Ultimate through my Sandisk 8GB Cruzer Blade. There was a blank screen with an underscore(_) blinking and then the netbook restarted, it kept on happening until I removed the USB stick out. I used UNetBootin to create the boot loader for Win7. I thought it was a problem with the BIOS so I reset it even then the problem persisted, so I tried updating, it says Invalid BIOS file. I downloaded the BIOS from the samsung official technical support page for this Netbook.Summary:
Netbook :NP(I dunno what this stands for) N150 JA02IN
Problem : USB boot not working and BIOS/Firmware update not possible
Methods used for booting: NTFS & exFAT
Program used for bootloading : UNetBootin
Resetted BIOS ?? – YesSide note: I am an advanced user, so please DO NOT tell me to check the BIOS boot priorities……or anything like- Did you load the Win7 files onto the pendrive or not??

MemberHow is your pendrive detected? Is it some kind of multiple devices on one?
I’ve found that sammy only recognises and lets boot from generic pendrive devices,
and nothing more. Integrated memory card reader, and any other devices will not work.
Is your pendrive something like U3 or something? On my n150plus updating the BIOS changed nothing but version number, as I can see.
If the problem persists, please check if making USB bootable by using
“Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool” changes anything. If not, then get some other pendrive.Wish you luck.
