I have a NF210 and I have enjoyed the portability but freaked out when I took it out into the sun and had the same problem that is discussed here. I am so glad I found this discussion. I was armed when I called Samsung. The individual I spoke with said he hadn’t heard of the problem and he put me on hold. He came back and asked if I would like a replacement of the same model. I told him no, not if I was going to have the same problem. I will be sending my netbook to a tech for repair. I hope I have results as good as those who have had their’s repaired. If it doesn’t work they will replace it for another model. Has anyone heard of the N310 having these issues?
Samsung N150plus
Same problem, bought from Ebuyer in March and no problems until I try and use it outdoors in the summer, as soon as the sun hits the screen directly the right side of the screen goes completely black, I have to go inside and sleep and wake the machine or reboot to get the screen back again.
There is obviously an inherent problem with this as so many are experiencing the same problem. Not good for a netbook that was bought because it had a screen that you could read in “direct sunlight”!
Here’s hoping Ebuyer sort this out for me and with Samsung!
