Hi,
i have a lttle problem with my n150-JA02DE. everytime i remove the battery it forgets it’s bios settings.
When the batterry is plugged in again the first boot screen shows following errors.0271 Check date and time setiings (Yes, i have to reset the date everytime i remove the freakin battery)
0251 System CMOS checksum bad (All my settings are LOST )can anyone confirm if this behaviour is normal?
well i hope it isn’t but i wasn’t able to find any CMOS-battery in the disassembly videos so far^^
if someone could tell me where it is located, or if there is one at all, he realy would help me… ^^The behaviour is not normal.
The CMOS battery on the Samsung netbooks is usually located on the other side of the motherboard (I think the NC20 is one of the exceptions), which is why you wouldn’t see it in the disassembly videos, as they don’t go so far as to remove the motherboard.

is ist that balck blck thing ?Yeah it’s the black thing, it should be a 2032 button battery encased in plastic. It may be though that it’s just become unplugged though.
