Hi I am hoping someone can help me out. I have just bought a new N130. The web cam seems to be fine when I open it through ‘MyComputer’ but it does not work when I use MSN Live Messenger. I have followed the tutorial to activate the web cam and it says that the options arent available. When I try to open the webcam during a chat i get a message that tells me that the cam may be being used by another programme… Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

It may be to do with the software that came with it. I forget the name of it but it is there to put animations on the screen so that people viewing your web cam can see them (such as little avatars, graphic effects etc). I uninstalled the program straightaway and haven’t had any problems without it. In fact it starts up quicker than with the app installed.
Thanks Jon, I think you have hit the nail on the head exactly. I managed to fix it a couple of weeks back by uninstalling the programme that came with it ( as you also mentioned above) and since then it has worked perfectly.

i think i deleted somthing off my samgung netbook n130, and now my webcam is turned off or doesnt work. does anyone no how to fix that ?
