New to this forum and would like some help if possible. have a n130 notebook
which when i first obtained it (as a novice) it required that i partioned the hard
drive with no guidance as to why. so i went 50/50 ie: “c” drive 70gb & “d” drive
70gb. since then i have noticed that the operating system & recovery are one
drive approx. 18gb and the remaining space 52gb sitting there doing nothing and
my other drive filling up with my day to day running.
Can i re-partion the hard drive so that can increase my given space. or if not can
i use the “d” drive (operating system ect.) as a working drive and obtain more
operating space.kind regards,
mike30. please e-mail me if you want to. :confused: :confused: :confused:Not sure I fully understand the question, first off is it Windows 7 Starter or XP? Windows 7 has a few hidden partitions so some space will be allocated for something else.
You can repartition it certainly using some partitioning software like “Easeus Partition Manager” if you want. If you don’t want to partition it you certainly can use the space on the D: drive for whatever you want.
