Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share some information with you all ^^
I got my N130 back in November as a gift but was dissapointed with the performance of the machine overall, it was very very slow and seemed to struggle with even opening facebook. Hence I have not really used it and it has been on the louge floor for the past 2 months.
However, yesterday I decided to wipe the drive and install Win7 just to play around with it (came with XP), and what a difference it has made, the machine is very responsive now even though it still only has 1GB of RAM. I managed to reinstall all the drivers and software and I must say I am very happy with it now and can see myself actually using it as a netbook rather than using it as a door stop!
I just wanted to share this with you all and all other potential buyers or current owners who are expericing problems with their N130, this machine can be very fast if installed correctly ^^

i agree completely. i struggled with it for a few days and was very disappointed with everything. wiped winxp and put Win7 pro and what a difference. i can actually burn a dvd with it now. love this product and would recommend it over and over.
Welcome, I also put Win 7 on mine and it seems a lot faster but this maybe because I got rid of all the bloatware that came pre installed.
I am expecting a 2gig memory stick anytime and hope that this improves it further but we will see.Harry
