Unforunately I dropped my N120 a couple months after getting it and the screen would occassionally get distorted if I had it in a certain position. My normal fix was to give it a Fonzie (i.e. slap a piece of electronics to get it working) which worked well until today when half the screen went dead. After some tinkering I’m convinced I need a new screen.
Found some good info online about how to replace it. Have some questions though.
– Intrigued about the touchscreen option I saw on the NC10. Is there such an option for the N120? Does it work well?
– Is the Samsung NP-N120-KA01US different from the N120-12GBK (which is what I have).
– The screen identification is LTN101NT02. There is also a C01 nearby. I see some places are offering the LTN101NT02 in A03’s, C01’s, etc. Are these all different and do I need to make sure I get a C01 if they company isn’t stating it’s a C01
– Is there a compatible version with a matte finish I can use instead of an exact replacement.Thanks. Great board.

There are various threads here about touchscreens. I would think that your main concerns would be the size, and what connectors it has. Be aware that the NC10 and N120 have slightly different size screens, one may not fit the other’s housing.

It might be worth checking the lcd screen connector before forking out for a new one just in case.According to lcds4less.co.uk the LTN101NT02 is offered in 4 flavours each denoted by a suffix.
The -A03 is shown as Glossy whereas the -101, -T01, -A01 are just described as LED
To ensure you pick the correct one I would check with them first to be on the safe side.For touch screens have a look on ebay

fyi in case somebody needs this info in the future. Received my new screen and it works fine. Model on it says N101N6-L03 Rev C1. I guess the C1 or C01 might be the important part. I basically just made sure the KA number matched up with my N120.
