[N110] Streaming on the N110

Hi,

I’m looking to purchase a samsung n110 but one of the things holding me back is the wireless g only. Will wireless G be good enough to stream video? One thing i would want to stream is nba games from say http://www.justin.tv ? would the wireless G be sufficient for this without hiccups etc? as the stream would be pretty low quality anyways.

Hi dgod, welcome to the forum. I have not used that service but I have used the BBC iPlayer streaming service here in the UK over wireless G to my NC10 just fine.

The hi-res images look great on the NC10 screen (the NC10 is very very similar to the N110!).

Hopefully a forum member can confirm for certain. I don’t know how standard these things are! I can give that site a go later if you like, assuming it works internationally.

you dont need pre-n for internet streaming. g is fine for internet streaming as well as lower quality avi files etc. you can squeeze 720p though it but then the n series isnt designed to cope with hd.
