Wonder what 2GB to buy, a PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM or a PC2-6400 DDR2 SODIMM??
They are different speeds, right? Which one will work on the N220?

The exact writing is:

Another update:
I picked up this RAM :
http://www.mushkin.com/Memory/Essentials/991577.aspxand installed it, for some reason, I felt the machine a bit more sluggish than it was with the original factory Samsung 1GB.
It could have just been in my head, but I felt it slower and when I tried to open a video with the 2GB installed, it hesitated and gave some audible clicks that I have not experienced with the original 1GB.Seems strange because the 2GB stick had a 5-5-5-18 timing while the original 1GB stick had 6-6-6-12 timing. I am assuming the -5 timing is faster than the -6 timing, but performance-wise it felt slower.
Anyway, I returned it and now on the quest for another type. This time I will try to source an original Samsung stick like this one:

Update:
Bought and installed the Kingston RAM: KVR800D2S5/2G
Works fine and made applications open and close faster. Video playback improved too. Before I buy it, I checked the Kingston datasheet against the Samsung one and they were identical. here are the links:
